Glenn Miller Orchestra has been “on the road” longer and more continuously than any other big band ever! Traveling over 100,000 miles each year, they are making a stop at the Performing Arts Center of Wisconsin Rapids, 1801 16th Street South, on Thursday, November 7, for a 7:30 pm performance.
The Arts Council of South Wood County is proud to present the most sought-after big band in the world today for both concert and dance engagements. Still considered the greatest band of all time, its unique sound is loved by almost anybody who cares for dance music. The entire Glenn Miller Orchestra repertoire now exceeds 1,700 compositions, which keeps the band popular with both young and old. Be among the more than 500,000 people who annually attend Glenn Miller Orchestra performances!
Dinner tickets for Lake Aire Supper Club are available before the show through The Arts Council. Cost is $40 (including tax and tip). Choose from three different entrees when tickets are purchased. You’re guaranteed to arrive at the PAC in plenty of time for the performance.
Show tickets are $54 for adults and $10 for students and are available online 24/7 at www.SavorTheArts.com. There are no ticketing fees for show tickets; only sales tax is applied.
Season tickets are available if purchasing tickets to at least four of the remaining season performances at a discount of 5-10%. These must be purchased directly through The Arts Council. Also, if purchasing 10 or more tickets for a single performance in one transaction, a 15% savings will be applied—just call or stop in!
