Description
Each session will teach a different technique. Great for all levels of experience!
Students will learn different techniques of sculpting with clay. Instructor Laura Newman will guide students in age-old methods of hand building while providing historical and contemporary context. Each week, students will have an exercise to familiarize themselves with the material and method of making. Regular attendees will have the opportunity to practice and grow upon what they've learned, and create individual and complex artworks. Open to children when accompanied by an adult.
COST: $35 per session includes clay, glazes and firing in our kiln.
CLASS SIZE: minimum 3, maximum 8.
