Blanchard Promoted to Vice President Business Banker 

Wisconsin Rapids, WI – First State Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Derek Blanchard as Vice President, Business Banker. Formerly a Senior Credit Analyst, Blanchard brings his deep expertise in credit analysis and customer-focused financial strategy to this new client-facing role.

Since joining First State Bank in 2022, Derek has played a key role in evaluating credit risk and supporting the bank’s lending initiatives with thoughtful financial analysis. In his new position, he will partner directly with local businesses to provide tailored banking solutions, including commercial lending, cash management, and strategic financial planning.

Derek lives in Marshfield with his wife, Nicole, and four sons, Dominick (14), Deacon (12), Dax (5), and Damon (2). He enjoys golfing and coaching track and field at Marshfield Middle School. He is also the head coach of Hub City Track Club in Marshfield.
