The Mid-State Technical College Foundation, Inc., held its ninth annual Trapshoot Fundraiser on Sept. 20 at the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association in Nekoosa. The event combined fun and friendly competition to raise over $6,000 for emergency grant programs that benefit students in financial need. Fourteen teams and two individuals, totaling 70 participants, competed at the event. Mid-State Technical College will receive a $1.8 million grant from the U.S. Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) for building renovations needed to boost workforce development in the region.
