Mid-State Technical College hosted a donor recognition luncheon and ribbon cutting ceremony on July 22 to celebrate the official opening of its Wayne H. Bushman Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering Technology and Apprenticeship (AMETA™) Center. The 48,000 square-foot facility is located in the Stevens Point Industrial Park at 5000 Coye Drive. Mid-State announces first Dental Assistant program graduates
The inaugural cohort of Mid-State Technical College’s Dental Assistant technical diploma finished their coursework this June, marking the first five students to graduate from the program. The Dental Assistant students began the 16-credit program in February and were able to participate in Mid-State’s May commencement ceremony. The program was free to participants due to grant funding provided by the state of Wisconsin Department of Health Services Allied Health Professional Education and Training

Mid-State Technical College has announced its Dean’s List for the 2024 spring semester. This recognition is reserved for Mid-State students who have enrolled in six or more credits and have earned a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.75 during the semester. The list is sorted by student’s city of residence and last name. Cities are in Wisconsin unless otherwise indicated. Parents, guardians and supporters of class of 2025 students, along with their graduating senior, are invited to Mid-State Technical College’s parent informational sessions to learn about the Direct Admission program.
