Applications are now being accepted for Mid-State Technical College’s new Early Childhood Professional technical diploma. The Early Childhood Professional program prepares individuals to work in a variety of settings. Mid-State Technical College Precision Machining Technician student Kaden Stanczyk of Custer, Wis., was selected by SkillsUSA to compete at the prestigious WorldSkills USA international event. Stanczyk will travel to Lyon, France this September to represent the United States in the CNC Milling event. Stanczyk represented the state of Wisconsin in Precision Machining at the SkillsUSA Championships in 2022 and 2023. Mid-State Technical College will host its spring graduation on Saturday, May 11. The outdoor ceremony is designed to celebrate all graduating students, their families and invited guests. Mid-State’s Nursing program remains in top nursing school ranking
The Nursing program at Mid-State Technical College has again been named a top-ten nursing school in Wisconsin, ranking fourth on the 2024 Best RN Programs in Wisconsin list from RegisteredNursing.org. This ranking comes shortly after the Wisconsin Board of Nursing announced Mid-State’s National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) pass rate of 100 percent for 2023. The perfect NCLEX pass rate is especially impressive when compared to the national first-time pass rate of 87.8

Mid-State Technical College is proud to announce 97 construction and industrial trade apprentices received Tools of the Trade scholarships from Ascendium this year. This summer, students can choose to start an associate degree, technical diploma or certificate with classes starting in May and June.
