Join our esteemed legal team at Anderson O'Brien as an Office Assistant and become an integral part of our mission to deliver exceptional legal services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. As an Office Assistant, you will provide essential support to various departments and personnel, contributing to the overall productivity and success of our organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys and staff.
  • Locate and organize relevant information.
  • Maintain and organize client electronic and physical files.
  • Filing documents with courts.
  • Organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
  • Fill in for legal assistants when on vacation, fill in for reception.
  • Occasionally, drop-off and pick up documents at court house and post office.
  • Other duties as assigned, all with a high level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
 
Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Administrative or legal assistant experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a professional office.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong organization, communication and client service skills.
  • Excellent proof reading and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Thursday
  • 7 hour shift on Friday
