Mid-State announces spring 2025 Dean’s List
Mid-State Technical College has announced its Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester. This recognition is reserved for Mid-State students who have enrolled in six or more credits and have earned a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.75 during the semester. The list is sorted by student’s city of residence and last name. Cities are in Wisconsin unless otherwise indicated. Mid-State Technical College, WATEA celebrate successful partnership to provide free student shuttle service
Mid-State Technical College and Wisconsin Automotive & Truck Education Association (WATEA) hosted an event to celebrate their successful three-year partnership to provide student transportation via the Mid-State shuttle. The event took place on Monday, June 16, at Mid-State’s Wisconsin Rapids Campus. Launched in August 2022, Mid-State’s 15-passenger shuttle service was conceived and implemented by the Mid-State-WATEA collaboration and funded by a State of Wisconsin Workforce Innovation Grant (WIG). New Substance Use Disorder Counselor program available at Mid-State
Mid-State Technical College is offering a new Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) associate degree. Applications are now being accepted for the 67-credit program. Mid-State’s Substance Use Disorder Counselor program is a two-year associate in applied science (AAS) designed for individuals interested in working with addiction issues. Graduates are qualified to become substance abuse counselors with the ability to understand the underlying causes of addiction and help patients learn coping strategies

For the fourth consecutive year, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters and Mid-State Technical College co-hosted their “Rafters Meet and Greet” and “Cuts for Kids” event this week at the College’s Wisconsin Rapids Campus. Four Mid-State Technical College students earned top rankings at the 2025 Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference held May 7 – 11 in Orlando. Students were able to compete at the national event after placing at the Wisconsin BPA State Leadership Conference in February. Community invited to Mid-State’s ‘Chalk the College’ event on Stevens Point Downtown Campus
Mid-State Technical College will host its inaugural Chalk the College event on Saturday, July 19, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Stevens Point Downtown Campus.
