Wisconsin Rapids Winter Farmers Market Returns!
 
The Wisconsin Rapids Winter Farmers Market is open for the season on Saturdays and is held at the lower level of the Moravian Church, 310 1st Ave South, WI Rapids, WI 54494 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The market will feature vendors selling food items like fresh sourdough, honey, maple syrup, eggs, meat, bakery, canned goods, & more. The market hosts handmade craft vendors, selling everything from quilts to holiday themed decor. 
 
“The Winter Market is a great way to stay connected to the community during the winter," says Meliss Haack, Regional Farmers Market Coordinator. “Shopping locally supports small businesses & keeps money in our local economy.”  The market is a community event occurring all winter long on Saturdays through the first Saturday in May. 
 
Follow their facebook to stay up to date. Hot food is served regularly by Purple Shamrock Baking, so come hungry,  say hi to your neighbors, and meander the booths to get your meals prepped for the week. “We are so excited for the special events at the winter farmers market, including our Salute the Veterans event on November 14th and Santa’s visit on December 12th!” says Mike Barnes, WI Rapids Winter Market Manager, “We’d love to see new faces come to the market. We have several new vendors this season and we think you’ll enjoy the delicious hot food Purple Shamrock is cooking up.” Don’t let the winter weather stop you from shopping local and supporting your community!
