Ace Leadership Program Launches $25,000 Fundraising Campaign
Wisconsin Rapids, WI – The ACE Leadership Program, in partnership with the Heart of Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce, is proud to announce an exciting new community initiative – a landmark sculpture installation at the entrance of Alexander Field South Wood County Airport. This public art project, titled “Honor Our Past - Prepare Our Future,” will celebrate the city’s rich paper industry heritage while creating a welcoming and memorable first impression for visitors. Artist, Ben Jennings, a sculpture artist from Wisconsin Rapids, is looking for funding to create public art in his hometown.
Designed to be both visually striking and meaningful, the sculpture will serve as a lasting symbol of community pride. It aims to honor the history that shaped Wisconsin Rapids, enhance a prominent public space, and provide a warm welcome to newcomers and travelers flying into the city.
The project’s fundraising goal is $25,000, which will cover materials, installation, and a commemorative plaque recognizing donors and the ACE Leadership group. Community members, organizations, and businesses are encouraged to support the effort through various donation tiers, with recognition opportunities ranging from engraved bricks to plaque placement and featured acknowledgement at the project’s grand reveal.
